San Domenico è una chiesa a navata unica che si trova sulla punta nord-orientale di Chioggia. Costruita nel tredicesimo secolo, la chiesa ha subito numerose ristrutturazioni e restauri nel corso dei secoli, tra cui una demolizione completa nel 1745, dopo che è stata ricostruita alle sue dimensioni attuali. Oggi, la chiesa è parrocchia e santuario per un magnifico crocefisso, l’ultimo dipinto conosciuto di Vittore Carpaccio, e la pietà e santi di Leandro da Bassano.
Dating back to the 13th Century, Chiesa di San Francesco is quite a historic structure in Treviso. Its design is influenced from Romanesque as well as Gothic style of architectural designing. During 1806, this church was partially destroyed only to be restored back in 1920s era. It is also home to grave of Francesca Petrarca (daughter of a poet) as well as a 1960s pipe organ.
The Lazzaretto Nuovo, one of the islands in the Venetian lagoon has a strong historical significance. Used as a quarantine area for potential plague carriers, it was established in 1468. During an excavation workers came across a mass grave of plague victims that held well-preserved skeletons and artifacts of the dead. There are many museums that tell the story of the island and contain such artifacts. Lazzaretto Nuovo is also home to many species of plants and birds. Excursions and tours are conducted on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October.
Teatro comunale Mario Del Monaco is a typical Italian-style theater. Architect Andrea Scala designed the present hall of the theater and Trieste Stella and Federico Andreotti are responsible for the intricate paintings on the walls. Due to political and other tensions this beautiful theater faced many adversities but continued to entertain audiences with its melodious opera performances and does so even today.

Da allora è stato restaurato, ed è stato aperto come teatro nel 2001, grazie allo sforzo del consiglio comunale. Questo teatro a 99 posti ospita una varietà di spettacoli culturali di tutte le taglie, da compagnie teatrali ai ragazzi delle scuole che mettono in mostra il loro talento qui.
