Al Vapore, il piccolo locale di musica si trova proprio sul lato-terraferma del ponte a Venezia a Marghera, che è direttamente dall'altra parte dei binari dalla stazione ferroviaria di Mestre. Spesso ospitano gruppi jazz internazionali e concerti di livello mondiale. Gente di tutta la regione viene a Al Vapore per ascoltare buona musica dal vivo in un ambiente intimo. E' uno dei pochi posti a Mestre, dove tutta la famiglia può godere di un intrattenimento culturale e del gustoso cibo italiano.
Una birreria piuttosto antica, che si trova in uno dei campi più famosi di Venezia, con vista sulla chiesa, piuttosto frequentata. Caratterizzata dal giardino, in cui sono sistemati i tavoli allaperto, oltre ai tavolini sul campo, è piuttosto ampia, e può accogliere un centinaio di coperti. Il pubblico è di veneziani e turisti. Aperto tutto il giorno, ci si può prendere unombra un bicchiere di vino- a qualsiasi ora del giorno, accompagnato da cicchetti- tramezzini, stuzzichini, oppure un semplice caffè. La cucina offre diversi tipi di pizze, piatti della cucina regionale pasta, verdure, pesce, ma anche abbondanti grigliate di pesce e di carne, accompagnate da vini, soprattutto locali, e birre, di cui si trova unampia scelta. Funziona anche come gelateria, da passeggio o seduti al tavolo.
Siamo in calle degli Specchieri che parte da calle larga San Marco e arriva in campo della Guerra. Non potete sbagliare nel trovarlo anche perché la calle è larga meno di due metri. Ristorante istituzionale, dove potrete incontrare personalità della politica e dello spettacolo in visita. L'arredamento è abbastanza curioso: ricorda l'Orient-Express, e la sua atmosfera con luce soffusa, velluti e broccati; il servizio è ottimo, molto curato. La cucina di pesce è veramente eccellente, branzino e polenta tra i cavalli di battaglia, e la carta dei vini è adeguata. Ottimi i dolci.

Ostaria dai Zemei lies hidden from the eyes of the tourist as well as many locals, but those who chance upon this tiny snack bar get an opportunity to sample a variety of “cicchetti” or “light snacks” paired with rare Italian wines. This eatery appears more like a bakery or specialty food shop than a restaurant and its counters hold appetizing sandwiches, paninis and baked goods. The wooden racks against the wall are filled with wine glasses, white cups and plates and are covered with knick-knacks including posters and magazine cut-outs. Guests can also be seated outdoors and enjoy views of the street while sipping wine such as Tuscan Chianti, Valpolicella, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Prosecco.
