The famous architect Joseph Collins Wells designed this stone mansion in the Italianate architectural style, on the banks of Cayuga Lake, for the eponymous entrepreneur. Today, it is a guesthouse with seven rooms and offers luxurious interior decor, warm fireplaces, porches with village or lake view, a vintage parlor, library and dining room. Guests can rent cycles, boats, canoes and kayaks or spend the day indoors, curled up with a book or board game. This hotel is mostly a honeymooner's spot and children below 14 years are not allowed.
