This historic tavern in Federal style architecture was in the year 1803 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the year 1985. The structure has three sections namley the tavern, the shop and the barn. It is called so since it was originally painted Black. It is now a white building, covered with clapboard, has a porch on the front and a stable on the north side. There are no regular visiting hours, and the authorities need to be contacted for arranging a visit. They are also open for small events like weddings and meetings.
The Goodnow Library is a historic library located in Sudbury, Massachusetts. This red brick public library was built in 1862 in the Octagon Mode and Romanesque style of architecture. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Today, the library features a host of modern amenities for its members like DVDs and internet access as well as regular book readings and fun activities, especially for children.
