The State Theatre of Ithaca was established in 1928 and is of major historical significance to the city of Ithaca in New York. It is believed to be one of the oldest theaters in the city and the main goal is to enrich the cultural scene of the community. The theater hosts fabulous local as well as international performances and programs and is an integral part of the development of the region. The strong support from the community has resulted in the theater still standing in all its former glory.
