The Lively Run Goat Dairy was established in 1982, making it one of the country's oldest surviving dairies of its kind. Lively Run produces a variety of delicious goat's and cow's milk cheeses, prepared on-site using sustainable techniques. Visit the dairy and enjoy a sampling of Lively Run cheeses and take a guided tour to learn more about what goes into their creation. Kids will enjoy petting the animals, while adults are sure to delight in the farm's epicurean offerings. Visitors are welcome to bring along a picnic and enjoy it at the farm in the midst of the Finger Lakes Region's scenic beauty. Whether you are a cheese connoisseur or simply enjoy new experiences, a visit to the Lively Run Goat Dairy is a must when touring the region. Although reservations are not required, they are recommended, especially for larger groups. A tour of the dairy is conducted from Monday through Saturday at 2p in season. Tastings and tours cost USD3 and USD5 respectively.
