Located beside the historic Ritz Theater, Ritz Museum occupies a space of approximately 11,000 square feet and is comprised of a collection of artifacts, photographs and other memorabilia that portrays the importance of the African-American culture of the region. The region of LaVilla was once dubbed as the 'Harlem of the South,' and a visit to the museum would help you better understand why by taking you through the collections under the permanent exhibit called "Lifting Every Voice in LaVilla."
