Le Bain

Le Bain is popular both amongst regular party-goers as well as celebrities, with its unique interior design making lounging both luxurious and fun. Le Bain, which translates to "bath" in French, is also popularly known for the plunge pool located on the dance floor during the summertime. Although extremely exclusive and often requiring invites to get in, those who manage to enter are rewarded with a beautiful view of the city from the rooftop and excellent service from professional bartenders mixing up great cocktails and concoctions.

Minnesota's

Minnesota's seems like it landed in the wrong state, but no one on Long Island is complaining... live music or karaoke entertainment and an outdoor deck where food is served all summer long draw crowds. The restaurant, cooking up seafood & specials every day, becomes a 21 and over nightspot after 10 p.m. Energetic live performances, top 40 tracks, dance & house, rock music, ladies' night, and a fabulous atmosphere make this restaurant and club an excellent place to have fun.

The Dead Rabbit

The Dead Rabbit has been lauded for many things: being the "Best Bar in North America," the "World's Best Bar," and offering the "World's Best Cocktail Menu" among them. This sophisticated Irish pub meets classy cocktail lounge has something for everyone, be it the stellar selection of craft beers in the taproom, more than 70 vintage cocktails in the upstairs parlor, or festive bands and DJs featured weekly. Hungry crowds can choose between elevated bar snacks like cheese and charcuterie plates or heartier dishes like the rabbit burger. There's even a gourmet grocery attached where foodies can stock up on artisan goods. Experience the flow of conversation among fashionable guests on the first and second floors of The Dead Rabbit or book the top floor for a private event.

Ear Inn

This pub is one of the oldest bars in the city. The house itself was built prior to 1817 and is named after its owner, former slave and revolutionary war hero, James Brown. Mr. Brown originally sold tobacco to sailors before embarking on the docks right outside the door where the Hudson came ashore. Over the last century, it has lived a precarious existence slinging drinks due to developers and the constant maintenance of this almost two century-old house. The house is a relic of yesteryear and though the interior decor has changed due to zoning requirements in the city, there is history galore in the structure, as old jugs that date from 1870 and memorabilia are displayed throughout. Some locals still call the bar the "Green Door" due to the fact that before the "Bar" sign was painted over to show "Ear" and the door was the only viable moniker everyone knew. The place was originally a haunt for sailors, and several ghost stories are associated with the establishment making it something of a local legend. The kitchen offers the usual Irish/American pub fare with a few brews on tap. A true New York City bar, this is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a few pints.

Top of the Standard

As its name implies, Top of the Standard is located on the top level of the Standard Hotel in the West Village. The central lure of this lounge is its unmatched 360 degree views of New York and New Jersey, enchanting views that impress even born and raised New Yorkers. This lounge features live music, as well as a dance floor with a DJ. Order up a round of signature cocktails as your stare out onto the Empire State Building and surrounding landmarks — views just don't get much better than this.

Village Underground

Village Underground in New York is probably one of the best places to catch the foremost names of the city's live music scene. The bands that play here usually play much larger venues, but the smaller space here simply intensifies the effect of the great music. Well-known celebrities like Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder have been known to drop in here regularly and Bob Dylan used to play here back in the sixties. Village Underground also hosts open-mic nights and comedy performances at its sub-venue, the Comedy Cellar. Drop in for a memorable musical night.
