Červená Lhota Castle

Located a few miles away from Jindřichův Hradec, the Červená Lhota Castle is a popular tourist attraction with its picturesque fairy tale setting and remarkable historic exhibitions. Dating back to the 16th Century, the castle is built on a rocky outcrop in the middle of a small lake and on the site of a former medieval fortress. Passed down through nobility and many rich merchants, the castle acquired a number of valuable treasures throughout the ages which are now on exhibition to the public. Open to visitors, the castle offers guided tours in Czech, English and German and is a must visit if you are touring the region.
