Erciyes Dağı

A stratovolcano that soars to a height of about 3917 meters (12,851 feet), Erciyes Dağı is an intimidating yet alluring challenge for enthusiastic climbers who dream of making it to the summit. Located in the Keyseri province, this snow-capped peak offers a spectacular view of its surroundings. As Central Anatolia's tallest peak, it grants a vantage point from which hikers can admire both the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea on exceptionally clear days. Also situated here is the Erciyes Ski Resort, offering ample opportunity for winter sports in the vicinity of the mountain, establishing it as one of the major tourist attractions in the city.
