The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, or the "Aud" as locals affectionately call it, is a local fixture for hockey games and ice-sports. The Kitchener Rangers make their home here, but the Aud is capable of hosting a variety of events. A Subscribers Lounge with seating up to 250 people in a round table format is used for weddings, parties, and corporate events, while a 366.03 square meter (3940 square feet) Sports Association Room and Teaching Theater round out the rest of the building. The entertainment complex has hosted several legendary bands and performers such as Bob Dylan, KISS, Elton John, Backstreet Boys and Led Zeppelin to name a few.
