The awe-inspiring Italian Court in Kutná Hora was originally the Central Mint of Prague. It was only after its reconstruction in the late 14th-century that it got converted into a partial palace. The stunning architectural marvel is open for public exploration but only through a guided tour. The tour gives a detailed description of all the various interesting rooms and features of the building and showcases the beautiful Audience Hall and charming chapel to its visitors. The magnificent chapel of St Wenceslas is one of the best representatives of Bohemian Gothic architecture and consists of delicate nouveau frescoes. The interactive and educative tour also explains the whole process of minting coins since its origins in Czech.
