La Chaux-de-Fonds

Located in the Neuchâtel canton of Switzerland, the beautiful city of La Chaux-de-Fonds is famous for its rich history of watchmaking and as the birthplace of the Le Corbusier who is referred to by many as the father of modern architecture. Founded in 17th century, the city quickly grew and prospered due to its extensive watch making industry with many notable names starting their careers here.
