There are specialty shops and a few eateries, including an International House of Pancakes.
While this boutique is small and unpretentious, its success marks a turning point in Lanai's development - an upscale boutique can stay in business in Lanai. This store sells dresses, tanks, sarongs, separates and other upscale resort clothes. It also sells some men's clothing. The styles are casual yet chic, appropriate to wear to Henry Clays Rotisserie or the nearby Four Seasons Lana'i, the Lodge At Koele.
Local artist Sherri Reeve is known for her vivid watercolors depicting Hawaiian marine life. Original paintings, prints, gift cards and even designer T-shirts are available in her Upcountry store. Sherri's work can be seen in various other galleries and shops, but this store has the widest selection by far. Brightly colored yet somehow gentle, her style is very different from most local artists'. It focuses on simple beauty rather than hyper-color surrealism.
While it can't really be called a shopping center, this place is definitely a few steps up from the standard crafts bazaar. Fully half the merchants have their own store, and things are more sedate than at Kihei's Aloha Market. All manner of wood carvings, ornaments, jewelry and other souvenir items are on sale. A few high-class art galleries are in the back. Three informal eateries are in the center courtyard, and the tables that they share seem to be constantly crowded with shoppers taking a load off.

The designs are unique with color trends that range from light and whimsical to sporty and sophisticated. The seasoned Hawaii resort designers of Weekends offer up something new and fresh each year. The shop also has a good selection of beach accessories. Sunglasses and hats in many different styles are also popular. The brainchild of internationally-acclaimed artist Ryan Staub, his store Moana Glass stocks an impressive selection of glass-blown showpieces that were handcrafted by the master himself. Most of their pieces seem to resemble marine life such as green sea turtles, humpback whales, and jellyfish. If you're willing to learn the delicate art of glass blowing, enroll yourself for one of their courses and craft glossy masterpieces by yourself.
