Founded in the year 1962, the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame was established to recognize the contributions made by the founders and leaders of the rich heritage of Florida Citrus. Today, the museum runs several outreach programs educating the people about the rich history of Florida Citrus and the entire region. Visitors can watch short documentaries and learn more about its history, preservation and contributions made by people down the years to make this a strong industry and a great force in Florida. Apart from being a museum, they also host trade fairs and shows.
