Sesame Place

If you've been a fan of the iconic American television series Sesame Street, you should head to Sesame Place in Langhorne, just about 26 miles (41.84 kilometers) from Downtown Philadelphia. Established in 1980, this wonderful theme park features several activities, rides and water slides that kids of all ages can enjoy. Just like Sesame Street, there's endless smiles and laughter here, and a lot of it is caused by the exceedingly funny shows they host. With oodles of feel-good nostalgia, the theme park covers over 14 acres (5.7 hectares) and often hosts festival celebrations such as A Very Furry Christmas and 4th of July Fireworks.
