Jardine River National Park

Sandstone cliffs and mesmerizing waters in every shade of blue make this Cape York Peninsula landmark a major tourist attraction. Apart from the Coral Sea coast, the park also has at least four waterfalls and several rock pools. Many of Jardine River National Park's natural features have kept their traditional names, and the site offers numerous ancient ceremony sites, making it equally attractive as a cultural hotspot. Various campsites welcome visitors throughout the park; the campsite at Eliot Falls notably has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Jardine River National Park is open round the clock only during the region's dry season, which typically lasts between June and November, so a quick closure check before planning a trip is recommended.
