Muriel’s Donuts
If you wish to add dollops of sunshine to a gloomy day, head to Muriel’s Donuts and dig into some of their flavorful offerings. In operation since 1967, the cozy joint has garnered raves and quite a loyal clientele over the years. Made in small batches, the homemade donuts are served warm and fresh and are a delight to the taste buds. Their Cinnamon Sugar and Jelly Sticks are particularly delightful. Cooked by Muriel herself, the donuts are fresh, warm and just the right amount of creamy. Though set in a simple, no-frills space, with a limited menu, the decadent offerings will leave you with no room for complaints. Note that Muriel’s Donuts do not accept any debit or credit cards.
Lui Lui
Lui Lui is popular among the locals for the delectable spread of authentic Italian dishes that it has on offer. The restaurant has an adorable setting, and their waiters can be relied upon for suggestions over the menu.

Cloudland Farm LLC is a beautiful farm property set in the pastoral hills of Pomfret and is run by the Emmons family since 1908. The farm has a restaurant that offers a farm-to-table dining experience and serves cuisines that have been prepared from locally sourced ingredients. From the food menu one can relish cuisines like Angus beef steaks, sausages, pork dishes etc. The menu changes on a daily basis and they serve only dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, prior reservations are mandatory.
