The Schloss Lieser or the Castle of Lieser is located in the Moselle valley of the Lieser village of Germany. This 13th-century marvel is a royal residence and is currently occupied by the state. The building that you see today was established by Heinrich Theodor Schmidt for Eduard Puricelli. He owned a vineyard in the region and wanted a place right next to it. The Neo-Renaissance structure has certain Neo-Gothic elements that make this a brilliant architectural study. The two-storied building houses a chapel and other beautiful sections that make it a worthy monument of the region. Today, the castle has been turned into an exquisite hotel called Schloss Lieser, Autograph Collection, offering 49 rooms and state-of-the-art facilities for all its guests.
