Holywell Workhouse Chapel
"A Beautiful Chapel"
Constructed in 1883-84, the Holywell Workhouse Chapel is a beautiful place that was designed by John Douglas, an architect who belonged to Chester. It is built with stone and has a lovely slate roof. The Cadw designated the Holywell Workhouse Chapel as a Grade II building. This chapel was established in association with the Hollywell Workhouse and also housed a poor people's ward.
