"Bridging Zambia and Zimbabwe"

Connecting international borders of Zambia and Zimbabwe, the massive Victoria Falls Bridge is a fine example of strong architecture as well as international harmony. Designed as a parabolic arch, the bridge was conceptualized by British magnate, Cecil Rhodes. Earlier referred to as the Zambezi Bridge, the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is connected to Livingstone in Zambia. Secured with military posts at both ends, the bridge is suspended over a deep valley with a gushing river flowing beneath it. A popular tourist attraction, thrill seekers engage in bungee jumping from the bridge, diving into the enormous and scenic valley from a height of 111 meters (364 feet).
