Established in 1892, this popular racecourse is comprised of a variety of different sporting events such as two racetracks; Chester and Bangor-on-Dee, as well as a polo field, horse shows, concert venues and a variety of fine dining. More than 200,000 people visit Chester Racecourse each year, making it a symbol of British culture and heritage. The Recreation Ground is located in Llansantffraid-ym-Mechain of Wales. It is a football stadium and is often called Treflan by locals and visitors. This magnificent stadium is home to the Mid Wales League Club. The stadium has a capacity of 2000 spectators with seating arrangements for 1000. The Treflan has seen many matches with the pre-season friendly match between Total Network Solutions and Chelsea recording highest spectatorship, at around 1,996.

There are two rooms- Tal Humphreys Room and the Defra Room that are equipped with projectors, a huge screen, wireless internet service and a seating capacity for around 20 people. The Grade II listed building of the Holy Trinity Church, Greenfield, was built in 1870. This simple, but beautiful church underwent modernization 2010, making it a more diverse space that is utilized by a number of groups and organizations for meetings and events. Regular services are held every Sunday. Services on the third Sunday of every month are accompanied by performances by the church's youth music group.

Built in 1435, Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin is believed to be the oldest timbered town house so far identified in Wales. Open to public, the house has an extremely rich history and is said to comprise of Seven Ages reflecting seven periods of its history and development. Over the years, this archaic black and white house was home to different owners has been altered, renovated, extended and redecorated accordingly. The main attraction for the visitors is its unique ‘Seven Ages’ tour.
