"Plenty of Real Ale"
The Pembury Tavern was originally built in the middle of the 19th Century. Due to a fire in the 1990s, there has been a complete refurbishment. It has sixteen hand-pumps with real ales from various British microbreweries that are changed regularly, real cider and also many bottled beers. This attracts many of its clientele. The Pembury Tavern also hosts three beer festivals annually. There are a range of card and board games available, and it is most popular for its bar billiards. It is a friendly, relaxed, bright pub with character, though no piped music unfortunately.
