"18th-Century Post Mill"

A Grade II listed site, New Mill is a post mill also on the Buildings at Risk Register. Estimates have been made that it dates back to the 18th Century but the exact date is not known. The mill has seen various weather and war-related wear and tear. It was restored in 1950 but there have been a lot of growing concerns about the mill in recent times given its weak condition. A two-storey roundhouse forms the base of the mill, and it is winded by a tailpole.
