Gilded accents, sparkling lights and candlelit tables have injected new life into this former strip club, without taking away its low-key appeal. Although still very much a dive bar, Gold Diggers' new owners have done away with the venue's seedier undertones in favor of nostalgic touches that call to mind the glorious era of LA in the 80s. The DJ spins everything from metal to disco, depending on the night, pulling patrons onto the dance-floor for some spirited fun. The drinks are strong and the ambiance is fuss-free, making for a refreshing break from the better-known nightlife venues of LA. A little-known fact - prior to its stint as a strip club, Gold Diggers was Ed Wood's studio space. Live music is featured as well.
