7th Street/Metro Center

"LACMTA station"

Built in 1988-89, and designed by Albert C. Martin and Associates, 7th Street Metro Center is a major junction for Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. It is an intersection where the city's Red and Blue transit lines come together. The upper level is a side platform that serves the Blue Line light rail and the lower level is an island platform that serves the Red Line and Purple Line subways. The beautiful mural on the ceiling is the best feature and a recommended must watch of this location.
