Its Bowling Alley consists of 24 bowling lanes lit by LED lamps, with eight lanes reserved for VIP or private bowling. Spring For Coffee is, arguably, one of the best coffeehouses in Los Angeles. Its small and charming interiors serve as a good date spot, though this café may be unable to accommodate very large groups. One can either be seated on trendy chairs in the patio, with the glass windows revealing the interiors, or inside the coffee shop to smell the delicious aromas that infuse the room. Its menu includes traditional brews such as cappuccino, latte and macchiato or rarer and creative blends like Matcha Tea, Loose Leaf and Crafted Cup. The baristas are knowledgeable about the rich and diverse world of coffee, much to the delight of coffee connoisseurs in the area.
Spread the cheer with wine and bites at Mignon. The wine bar is a favorite hang out place for locals who like to finish their dinner here, sipping the drink at leisure and pecking on the range of charcuterie and tapas bites. The menu comprises of small morsels of cheese, meat and sandwiches along with platters of Market Vegetables, Okame Spinach and Fresh Market Fruit. The wine list also has a few gems. The quiet ambience offers a splendid place for a romantic date or a post-dinner nightcap. The venue has soft lights that create a dramatic appeal. Happy hours are from 6p to 8p from Monday to Saturday and upto midnight on Sunday.
The Bunker Hill Bar & Grill specializes in contemporary American cuisine, especially tangy grilled dishes. It has separate menus for breakfast and brunch, lunch, dinner and catering services. Guests can start their meal with appetizers such as the classic Cobb Salad, Crispy Garlic Brussels Sprouts and Peking Duck Wrap. The emphasis is more on snacks like sandwiches and burgers along with a selection of sushi rolls. The Black Sheep is a modest gastropub offering diners a selection of succulent gourmet burgers, tater tots, sliders and sausages alongside a variety of craft beers on tap. With its dim lighting and minimalistic furnishings, the pub creates a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere with a distinct touch of style. The Carne Asada Tater Tots are the most popular, while the Black Sheep signature burger, with arugula, gouda cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli, comes in at a close second. With a bar selection of sake, beer and wine, friendly and efficient service, delicious food and reasonable prices, Black Sheep truly has it all. The pub is quite easy to miss as the entrance is a little below street level, so keep an eye out for their chalk-board on the sidewalk.
Rendezvous Court in the Millennium Biltmore Hotel gives a feeling of a traditional British living room. It's a very formal venue for a rendezvous over a cup of tea and some light fare. The traditional British afternoon tea is served from 2p-5p. You can ask for freshly baked scones or miniature French pastries to go with your tea. If you have the chance to visit the place more than once, try the Victorian Tea or the Princess Tea and the wide selection of sandwiches. Cinnamon Herbal Tea is a marvelous option if you'd like to try something out of the box. Smeraldi's Restaurant, menu is served from 6p-10p everyday.
