"Award-winning Local Seafood"

Humming with a festive, atmospheric buzz, Mike Linnig’s sits in a leafy locale dotted with old oak trees. The specialty is seafood of all kind, including the award-winning kind. Mike Linnig's is where most of Louisville turns up when they have a hankering for fish, frog-legs, pan-fried oysters, turtle soup and their simple yet famed green onion rings. Those who prefer the comfort and privacy of the indoors can dine at their intimate dining room near the Ohio River - however, the true beauty of dining at this iconic fish place is out on the expansive patio decorated with picnic tables and old-fashioned lamps. If you're with family, go large and order a quarter pound (113.39 grams) of peel and eat shrimp which is served with lemon wedges and sauce. Else, pick the simple yet delicious fish sandwich with good ol' coleslaw. Also try the catfish, clams, broiled fish and frog-legs. The restaurant is open only from late January to November (the Sunday before Thanksgiving).
