In the picturesque valley of the river Trave, amidst a charming scenery of gentle green hills, lies the village of Lokfeld. Here, the country road crosses the Trave, and there could hardly be a better place for a café than next to the bridge that, in the summer months, is inevitably passed by countless excursionists on bicycles or in cars. The café Lokfelder Brücke occupies a magnificent spot, with a large lot along the river, in the shadow of old trees. Currently under renovation, the historic county inn will open again in the near future in new glory.
