"A Blacksmith Museum"
The Benjamin Blacksmith Shop is a unique one. Operating since 1885, this little museum is a fascinating attraction for local residents and tourists alike. The shop has undergone many renovations and even moved to a new location. Visitors can take an immersive tour of the old shop and see the process through which the metal items are forged. When at the park, visit the shop to learn the method of crafting metal items, observe the blacksmith at work as he crafts intricate candle holders, horseshoes, and other objects, and try pounding metal yourself. Benjamin Blacksmith Shop also hosts the annual Blacksmith Convention, usually held in August.
