"Fun Mediterranean Fusion Food"
Rayuela has the hottest items – so to speak – when it comes to Mediterranean fusion cuisine. Their seasonal salads are made with the freshest produce and are experimentally fun: try the one with endives, avocado and Roquefort dressing, for example, or the one with enoki mushrooms and lemon oil. The raciones, or small portions, are also a great bet: the lemon-marinated shark is tender and finger-licking good, while the Royal couscous for two people, though only orderable on the weekends, is simply delicious. And food isn t all that this well-located, two-story restaurant – with huge windows that face Las Vistillas park – can offer; there are temporary art exhibitions showcased all the time here, and occasional alternative rock concerts downstairs. - Michelle Campagna
