"Tourist Hub Town"

Malia is a small town located in the Heraklion Regional Unit of Crete. The town attracts tourists from across the world with its active night life and archaeological finds. Several bars, restaurants, night clubs and hotels are found along the Main Strip of town. Renowned DJs play at the night clubs and the beach is also a site of many fun activities. The town is also home to the Malia Castle which was built in the Bronze Age of the Minoan Era. The castle was destroyed and rebuilt in the Later Bronze Age.
