"Former British Battery"

Constructed for military reasons in 1888 CE, Della Grazie Battery is a fortification near Grand Harbor. It is a polygonal fort armed with four breech loading guns. It occupies the site of the former Wignacourt Santa Maria delle Grazie Tower; hence the name. It ceased being used as a battery in 1910 CE. During World War II the structure functioned as a searchlight tower. Today, it is owned by the government and used as a town hall.
