Seleucia

An old settlement located on Pamphylia coast of Anatolia, Seleucia is found atop a hill with lofty cliffs on various sides which made it a defensive city in the bygone era. During the Byzantine period, Seleucia was the base of one of the administrative divisions (Themes) in the erstwhile Asia Minor. Ruins of an ancient agora (central point) housing two as well as three story buildings are found here. The agora also contains ruins of a mausoleum, Roman bath, gate and a necropolis, apart from many churches and temples.
