Little Moreton Hall

Probably the finest manor house in Britain and certainly the best known, Little Moreton Hall derives its name from the Moreton family which owned it until 1937, till it was sold to The National Trust. It has served as a location for several famous films including Lady Jane and Moll Flanders.The superb black and white frontage is topped by a spectacular gallery and opens onto a cobbled courtyard and the main body of the hall. Events include Shakespearean plays that are performed in an open air theater during a particular month and at other times guided tours are offered. The area includes a small restaurant and shop nearby, along with excellent general access for disabled visitors.
