The village of Barley is located in the Pendle borough of Lancashire. Falling in the Barley-with-Wheatley Booth parish, the village is nestled between the Black Moss and Ogden Reservoirs. A village frequented by travelers, Barley is the starting point of walking trail towards Pendle Hill. The site is also famous for a 13th century cow farm which sustained the agricultural roots of the village. Many of the public buildings have now been converted into flats and other residential abodes.
