Marbella's Little Bodega has extra-white walls covered in photos of the mid-century Marbella, when it was just a fishing village and the jet-set had not yet chosen it as the ideal vacation spot. The speciality here is salt-cured ham and fried fish, in olive oil and just enough salt. The place is almost always packed for the pre-lunch aperitif, and likewise when the sun goes down, especially after Thursday. A young and fun atmosphere is what you'll find here.

The Tavern

This little English-style pub has been welcoming people of all nationalities for over a decade. The owner is used to chatting with the customers from the early afternoon until after midnight. It's a perfect place for meeting friends for the first drink of the evening, especially if it's beer, as there's an incredible variety of Spanish makes, such as San Miguel, Alambra, and Mahou, and imported beers, such as Heineken, Carlsberg, Foster's, Bud and Guinness.
