Il Consolare

This restaurant is in a road that lies parallel with Via Brera and for years it has been very busy despite the fact that it is difficult to find parking. Very popular among foreigners and Milan locals, it has a quiet atmosphere and stands out from the other trattoria because of its move away from the 'simil thonet' aspect that is given off. Fish is the mainstay of the menu and is of good quality. Traditional dishes are expertly cooked. There are thirty wines on the list and home-made desserts. Reasonable prices.
