Milan Malpensa International Airport

Milan's busiest airport (over 16 million passengers per year) has become northern Italy's international hub. It has two terminals: Terminal 1, modern, spacious and glamorous, dedicated to domestic, international and intercontinental flights, and the more modest Terminal 2, mainly for charter flights. Both terminals cater to the needs of most passengers in terms of services and facilities. Although the airport is located a hefty 48km North-West of Milan and access by road can be quite slow, it's well connected with the city by a fast and frequent railway service. There are several bars and restaurants and a cocktail lounge at the airport.
