This restaurant was born out of a great idea: to acquaint westerners with real Chinese cooking quite different from the Cantonese cooking of the usual restaurants. Everything here is authentic, including the ingredients. The restaurant is enormous and can accommodate up to 350 people and there are plenty of cooks in the kitchen. The decor is not the best because it is a collection of chinoserie but the service is speedy and efficient. The Cantonese menu is classical, with spring rolls, various types of ravioli etc. It is the second part of the menu that is more interesting, where you will find duck's tongue, dried rabbit with soya sauce, various offal dishes eg. salted intestines, small intestines and much more. Slightly stronger flavours than we are used to but it is an absolute must to try these dishes.
