Lowell Inn has been a dining tradition for more than 70 years. Fortunately, the lackluster menus of the last decade have been spiced up while still retaining the old favorites. Each room has a different menu under Chef Mitch Omer. The George Washington Room features white linens, fine china, crystal and silver service. The Matterhorn room sports a Swiss motif. The fondue includes appetizers, sherry and Grapes Devonshire for dessert. For the uninitiated, it consists of raw prime beef and coconut-crusted shrimp, which you skewer on a long stick and cook in hot oil at your table.
