Situated off Old Shelbyville Highway in Tullahoma, Beechcraft Heritage Museum was put together by Richard and Carolyn Perry, John Parrish, W. C. Yarbrough and Louise Thaden. It was originally known as Staggerwing Museum Foundation and was established in the year 1973. Visit this museum and learn about the history and achievements of the company, Beech Aircraft Corporation. They showcase a wide range of aircrafts that were manufactured by the company. This interesting museum is also known to host the annual events known as Beech Party.
Opened in 1939 as a grand movie palace, The Park , as it was called, became the hub of downtown entertainment in McMinnville with recitals, concerts, weddings and graduations being held there regularly. After a fire in 1947, renovations made the Park grander than before. It was closed in 1986 and lay vacant until it was converted into a offices and suites by a local contractor. The city bought the property and with public support, the Park was restored to its former glory in 2015. Today it hosts performances by renowned entertainers, children's theater and workshops, dance recitals, graduation ceremonies and movie matinees like it used to.
