A meeting place for the left-wing student community since the 1960s, owners Heppel and Ettlich decided to put their back room to use in 1976, turning the establishment into one of the most important (and smallest) cabaret venues in Munich. Many stars from the world of cabaret and chanson have played here over the years, well before they were discovered by the mainstream. Now it hosts plays, cabarets, musicals and is occasionally a platform for domestic and international songwriters. Heppel & Ettlich im Drugstore is a charming place to be if you are looking out for some good entertainment.
