This restaurant has bagged two Michelin stars and offers the ultimate experience in luxury dining for the discerning gastronome. Situated within the ultra-luxurious Residenz Heinz Winkler, the interiors resemble an awe-inspiring Italian palace. The yellow walls are adorned with Renaissance-style artworks and sparkling mirrors. The white-beamed ceiling, ornate archways, and columns create a regal charm, while the white flower blossoms and three-armed candle holders lend a vintage and romantic feel. Guests can also dine at a winter garden and mountain terrace, and enjoy views of the surrounding Alpine hills dotted with conifers. The menu, albeit expensive, affords a fine gastronomic experience in Venetian cooking, they also boast of an impressive wine selection featuring 950 wine varieties.

One of the veteran restaurants in the neighborhood, Preysinggarten has built up a fine knowledge of not just local flavors but also impeccable service. It has been serving the neighborhood of Haidhausen since it opened in 1893. A wide range of breakfast options include scrumptious American eggs to yummy German sausages. The extensive menu also features a range of Mediterranean dishes, alongside pizzas, pastas and traditional fish plates to choose from. A small playground adjacent to this restaurant makes it a popular venue for families with little kids.

The name could not be more Bavarian, and the restaurant could not be more Italian. The owner crossed the Alps from Italy to open the doors of Osteria Der Katzlmacher in Munich. The menu is prepared daily according to fresh ingredients available. Let the host suggest your order. It is not a place to go for standard Italian fare like Spaghetti Bolognese, but for lesser known and definitely more exciting Italian and Mediterranean delicacies. It is a real feast for the senses with a warm décor, Italian music, fine wines, and a joke or two with the hosts.

Modern and tasteful with an oriental flair, Myrna combines a wonderful relaxed ambiance with great Mediterranean and Turkish food. Offering a sweeping variety of options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, this is all-day dining at it's best. Choose between their Turkish breakfast special, a warm starter like kebabs or one of their signature dishes like Lamb fillet with yoghurt sauce and freshly baked bread. Offering an extensive choice of drinks and a full bar, Myrna's terrace is a perfect place to relax and have a drink with some friends after work.

Il Mulino is one of the city's most sought-after Italian restaurants. The menu here is the brainchild of chef “Peppino” Mancuso who brings delectable Sicilian dishes to Bavaria. At Il Mulino, fish take center stage, but meat isn't forgotten either, and the place has something for the vegetarians as well. The restaurant also has a decent selection of wines, and patrons do not end their meals without trying some of the delicious desserts.
