Goosecross Cellars is a family-owned winery that has created a signature blend of wines that are quite affordable. The list of white wine varietals include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier; and a special blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet that is popularly known as AmerItal. Wines from the Goosecross can be purchased all over the United States through the Internet or at leading wine shops around the country.
This is certainly the most unusual winery—it has two bed-and-breakfast suites where you can put up if you wish to do so. Family-owned and operated, Prager Winery and Port Works produces only 3600 cases of wine in a year. Among these are California Port, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling. Despite the fact that it is rather small, and relies upon suppliers for grapes, its wines are of a good quality.
