Bagnoli

Italian cities and towns are full of history and each one of them has a tale to tell. Located just north of Naples and looking out onto the Bay of Pozzuoli, Bagnoli was completely burned down due to bombings during World War II. Later, the city suffered from rapid and unplanned development, resulting in urban decay. Recently, the city has seen restoration projects of its public spaces and promenades; the Città della Scienza and reclaimed industrial pier being a few examples.
