Set in the 13th-century Deutschordensschloss Neckarsulm, Deutsches Zweirad- und NSU-Museum opened its doors in 1956 and has been delighting cycling and biking enthusiasts ever since. This five-floor repository chronicles the story of the two wheeler when it was first built over two centuries ago. From the most simple to the ultra high-end model, you will find the exhibits enthralling. Get a glimpse of how the first bike looked like and how technology impacted the lineage of these bicycles and motorbikes. Racing machines and championship bikes are also included in the over 400 exhibits displayed here. Boasting to have the biggest cycle collection in the country and the world's biggest NSU collection, there will never be a dull moment as you check out these vehicles crafted by renowned names like BMW, Honda, Hercules and Yamaha in their assemblage. These include a 19th-century Hilderbrand & Wolfmüller, Kettenkrad HK 101, a 1939 Brough Superior and Daimler Einspur (First internal combustion two-wheeler run on gasoline).
