The baroque building of the pilgrimage church of the Holy Trinity was built on the site of a Romanesque chapel. Dientzenhofer created and implemented designs in the original church building which alluded to the number 'three', in order to honor the holy trinity. He even put three round towers with onion roofs, and the importance of three can be seen in many spots around the church.
Found atop the Kulm Mountain, Aussichtsturm am Kulm was built using wood and was opened in June 1972. From the viewing platform, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Regensburg and Fichtel Mountains.
