Visit the historic landmark where Caleb Bradham invented Pepsi-Cola for the first time in his pharmacy in the year 1898. The guided tour takes you on a riveting journey of how Pepsi was born, its' early days, and its evolution to one of the favorite soft drinks. Originally served as a pharmacy for the Bradham family, the space now pays homage to Pepsi-Cola's journey. The museum also serves as a souvenir and soda shop.
Centenary Methodist Church dates back to 1904 and was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Though a historical church, it is still active and hosts variety of programs, workshops and events for the entire community.
The celebrated First Presbyterian Church and Churchyard is a monumental church site on New Street, in New Bern, North Carolina. It encompasses approximately 1 acre (0.40 hectares) of land cover. Constructed in 1820, the ancient church is finely structured and designed by renowned architects Sandy, Uriah, Merrill and Daniel D. The federal style church building is one of the finest church structures in New Bern. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
