New Haven

New Haven, Connecticut's second largest city, is a seaport steeped in a rich history. The city is best known for the learned halls and colleges of the campus of the prestigious Yale University. The university's three-centuries old campus is a cultural hub complete with elegant Victorian and Gothic-style buildings, an art gallery filled with an astonishing collection of masterpieces, an impressive natural history museum and a rare library filled with treasures like one of the only surviving Gutenberg bibles. A short way away, the main street, just off the quiet New Haven Green, is full of charming eateries and cozy New England boutiques.
